When Jean sings those present pay attention. "HEM OF HIS GARMENT", an anointed song with very moving lyrics in which I have been privileged to accompany Jean on the guitar and sing harmony, always blesses me, as well as, other listeners. She's been referred to as a songbird in the past. They say we all have a life story to tell and this blog is only a tiny portion of what I've learned about this unique woman who bakes Bread, Pies and creates Oil on Canvas works of art.

"The Lord's Prayer". Song by Albert Hay Malotte. Performed by baritone T...
August 21, 2012. An oil on canvas mural size painting called "Nature's Symphony" by Native Ohioan, Jean Lambert, serves as a backdrop behind baritone singer T. Kent Lawson Jr. as he sang moving "The Lord's Prayer" melody into the camera recently, in Shelby, Ohio. All the glory, honor and praise be to the Sovereign Lord Jesus Christ, now and forevermore, amen.

2 Hour Gospel Sing at C. C. C. in Shelby, Ohio
Had a great time singing for & with the friends at Shelby's Crestwood Care Center on Sunday August 12, 2012 between 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Tim sang some numbers from his INCREASING FAITH original song series. Jean sang "Hem Of His Garment" and other favorite duet numbers with me which the audience enjoyed. Prayer(s) requested and offered. Thankfully gifts are without repentance. And, on this day I was more than glad to pray for fellow care center residents thankful for the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ shown unto me and the great privilege that it is to be able to pray to the Most High to begin with. The singing was just lots of fun!

The Lawson's Seeking Sponsors!
Our appearance on Faith Ministry Radio's "Plus or Minus 60" Gospel TV Show in Canton, Ohio was a very nice experience for us recently. They enjoyed us and we enjoyed being there. We've been granted a new date in April to sing again with the prospect of starting a CD recording project. P.T.L.!
Jean and I, agreed last year to sing for the glory of our heavenly Father who is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Almighty (Revelation 1:8).
We desire to find corporate sponsors who are interested in, and willing to market their company's product, concept, interests, via our performing arts' cause/work as a singing duo. Along those lines, I had to summarize a Sponsorship proposal in 500 words or less at http://www.sponsorpark.com within the basic free package word limit constraint as follows:
["Luke 4:18 'The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,'. This Bible verse, the title of one of our originals, states our reason 4 singing. Jean Lambert, my fellow singer also writes songs. Together we cover the song "If I Could Just Touch The Hem of His Garment", a blessing to our audiences promoting a spirit of hope & good health for all."]
Last Friday February 10, 2012, Jean and I were present at Lafayette Methodist Church during Bluegrass Night. Different listeners showed their appreciation for the music the LORD has put in our hearts to sing as they appeared in our practice/playing room, as if lured in by the sound of and/or message in our songs. I was also praised by another singer-guitarist, after singing my original "Psalm 98-Sing Unto The Lord A New Song", accompanying myself on the guitar, with words such as "Did you write that song...that was really good!"
If you are someone who likes anointed gospel, praise and worship music/songs and you are reading this blog entry, please, consider saying a simple prayer on our behalf asking that "He (the LORD) who began a good work in me (Tim) and in Jean, will be faithful to complete it in us." In order to just even go to Lafayette Methodist Church once weekly involves driving aproximately 100 R. T. miles. $ 15.00 in gasoline at about $3.20/gal. covered the trip well. In a year, that means $ 720.00. We're trying to pack food, snacks and water to save money and focus on our singing work/ministry. A camper vehicle that whould allow us to go singing with our guitar(s), and hopefully soon also our CD's, from Lafayette, to Fitchville, to Eastgate Mansfield and then to Homerville, and all venues here in Ohio, without returning home has not yet materialized, but, we discuss a need for it often and trust and pray the Lord, Adonai El Shaddai, will supply it as soon as it is agreeable to His righteous, all-wise and sacred heart. ¡Aleluya!
For the time being I am convinced that attending Lafayette Bluegrass night once a week has good potential for us, in our passionate desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in song with as many as may have an ear to hear it. ~
Sincerely in Christ, Timothy Kent L.

It's good to sing unto the Lord. In the Bible book of Psalms, it says so. I enjoy doing so. I enjoy hearing Jean do so. And on January 27, 2012 between 10:30am and 12:30pm, if it is the will of the Almighty, Jean and I both shall get to share 2-4 beloved gospel songs (live guitar & singing) on the Plus or Minus 60 Show out of Canton, Ohio. The direct link to the ministry's programming web site is http://www.faithministryradio.com. We might be broadcast live via the internet radio station player, I'm guessing. Much peace to all...t.k.l.Jr.
